Instructions For Use
1. Begin by carefully removing both the sheath and the core rod from the sterile packaging. Following the icon guide, gently insert the core rod into the casing sheath.
2. For the puncture process, hold the core rod seat firmly within your palm. Position two fingers on the casing handle, apply a slight pressure to engage the lock switch, allowing you to confidently puncture. Ensure the indicator is set to the ON position.
3. During the puncture, if the sign returns to OFF, it indicates successful penetration of the casing into the abdominal cavity.
4. Remove the core rod to utilize the 10mm sleeve, suitable for devices ranging from 8 to 11mm, while the 5mm sleeve accommodates devices from 3 to 6mm.
5. For standard procedures, initially use the Veress needle to establish pneumoperitoneum. A converter is included for using 5mm devices in a 10mm casing, also facilitating the retrieval of items like blood or gauze. The specimen bag is designed for secure specimen collection.
