Instructions For Use
1. Begin by removing both the sheath and the core rod from their sterile packaging. Carefully insert the core rod into the casing sheath, as indicated by the accompanying icon, to ensure proper assembly.
2. For puncture, securely place the core rod seat in your palm while positioning two fingers on the handle of the casing. Apply a slight amount of pressure to engage the lock switch at the top, initiating the puncture process. The indicator will show in the ON position.
3. During the puncture process, if the indicator returns to the OFF position, this signals that the casing has successfully penetrated the abdominal cavity, ensuring optimal placement.
4. Carefully remove the core rod. The 10mm sleeve is compatible with devices ranging from 8 to 11mm, while the 5mm sleeve accommodates devices between 3 to 6mm, offering versatile use.
5. For standard procedures, initially use the veress needle to establish pneumoperitoneum. A converter is available for using 5mm devices within the 10mm casing, allowing for various tasks such as retrieving blood, gauze, etc., from the abdominal cavity. Utilize the specimen bag to securely enclose specimens during the procedure.
