Comprehensive Instructions For Use
1. Carefully remove the sheath and core rod from their sterile packaging. Follow the icon to seamlessly insert the core rod into the casing sheath.
2. For puncturing, position the core rod seat in your palm, place two fingers on the handle, and apply a firm grip. Engage the lock switch at the top to begin puncturing. Ensure the sign is in the ON position.
3. During the puncture process, if the indicator shifts to OFF, this signifies successful penetration of the abdominal cavity by the casing.
4. Remove the core rod. The 10mm sleeve accommodates devices ranging from 8 to 11mm, while the 5mm is perfect for 3 to 6mm instruments.
5. For standard use, initiate with the veress needle to create a pneumoperitoneum. A converter allows for 5mm devices with a 10mm casing, and it can also facilitate the retrieval of blood, gauze, etc., from the abdominal cavity. Utilize the specimen bag for secure specimen packing.
