Instructions For Use
1. Begin by removing the sheath and core rod from the sterile packaging. Insert the core rod into the casing sheath, following the guidance of the icon for correct positioning.
2. To initiate the puncture, place the core rod seat in your palm, positioning two fingers on the casing handle. Apply slight pressure to engage the lock switch at the top, allowing for puncture. Ensure the indication is set to the ON area.
3. During the puncture process, if the indicator returns to the OFF position, it signifies that the casing has successfully penetrated the abdominal cavity.
4. Remove the core rod to utilize the 10mm sleeve, which accommodates devices ranging from 8 to 11mm, while the 5mm sleeve is suitable for devices from 3 to 6mm.
5. For standard procedures, initially utilize the Veress needle to establish pneumoperitoneum. A converter is available for integrating 5mm devices into the 10mm casing. Additionally, it can be employed to retrieve items, such as blood or gauze, from the abdominal cavity. Utilize the specimen bag to securely package the specimen.
