Instructions For Use
1. Carefully remove the sheath and core rod from the sterile packaging. Insert the core rod into the casing sheath following the illustrated guide.
2. During puncture, position the core rod seat in the palm with two fingers on the handle of the casing. Apply gentle pressure to engage the lock switch. When the sign is in the ON position, you are ready to puncture.
3. Throughout the puncture process, if the indicator reverts to the OFF position, this indicates that the casing has successfully penetrated the abdominal cavity.
4. Upon withdrawal of the core rod, the 10mm sleeve accommodates devices ranging from 8 to 11mm, while the 5mm sleeve is suitable for 3 to 6mm devices.
5. For standard procedures, a veress needle can initially be used to establish pneumoperitoneum. A converter is available for adapting 5mm devices to the 10mm casing, and it can also assist in retrieving items like blood or gauze from the abdominal cavity. The specimen bag is utilized for the secure containment of sample specimens.
