Instructions For Use
1. Carefully remove the sheath and core rod from the sterile packaging. Insert the core rod into the casing sheath as indicated by the icon, maintaining sterility throughout the process.
2. To perform a puncture, hold the core rod seat firmly in your palm, positioning two fingers on the casing handle. With a controlled grip, activate the lock switch at the top to initiate puncture. Ensure the sign is in the ON area for proper positioning.
3. During the puncture, if the indicator sign returns to OFF, this signifies successful penetration into the abdominal cavity.
4. Remove the core rod. The 10mm sleeve is adaptable for devices ranging from 8 to 11mm, while the 5mm sleeve accommodates instruments between 3 to 6mm.
5. For standard procedures, initially utilize the veress needle to establish pneumoperitoneum. A converter is available for using 5mm devices within the 10mm casing. Additionally, it can aid in retrieving materials such as blood or gauze from the abdominal cavity. A specimen bag is provided for safely securing specimens.
