Instructions For Use
1. Carefully remove the sheath and the core rod from their sterile packaging. Insert the core rod into the casing sheath as indicated by the icon, ensuring proper alignment.
2. During puncture, place the core rod seat in your palm, with two fingers gripping the casing handle. Apply a firm grip, toggle the top lock switch to puncture, with the indicator showing in the ON position.
3. Throughout the puncture process, if the indicator reverts to OFF, it signifies successful penetration of the casing into the abdominal cavity.
4. Carefully withdraw the core rod; the 10mm sleeve accommodates devices from 8 to 11mm, while the 5mm sleeve is suitable for 3 to 6mm devices.
5. For standard procedures, initially employ the Veress needle to establish pneumoperitoneum. A converter is provided for using 5mm devices within the 10mm casing. Additionally, it facilitates the retrieval of materials such as blood or gauze from the abdominal cavity. The specimen bag is designed for safe specimen collection and transportation.
