Instructions For Use
1. Begin by removing the sheath and core rod from their sterile packaging. Insert the core rod into the sheath following the guiding icons for a seamless setup.
2. For puncture: Hold the core rod seat in your palm, place two fingers on the sheath's handle, apply slight pressure, and engage the top lock switch to initiate the puncture. The sign will indicate the ON position when ready.
3. During the puncture process, if the sign shifts back to OFF, it indicates successful penetration of the abdominal cavity, ensuring proper placement.
4. Once the core rod is removed, the 10mm sleeve accommodates devices ranging from 8 to 11mm, while the 5mm sleeve is suitable for 3 to 6mm devices.
5. For standard usage, first employ the Veress needle to establish pneumoperitoneum. Utilize the provided converter for 5mm devices within a 10mm casing, which can also assist in extracting blood, gauze, or specimens. The specimen bag is tailored for secure specimen containment.
