Instructions For Use
1. Carefully remove the sheath and core rod from their sterile packaging. Insert the core rod into the sheath following the icons provided, ensuring proper alignment and readiness for use.
2. During puncture, hold the core rod seat in your palm, placing two fingers on the casing handle. Apply firm pressure, activating the top lock switch to initiate puncture. Ensure the indicator is set to the ON position for correct functioning.
3. Throughout the puncture process, if the indicator returns to OFF, this signals that the casing has successfully penetrated the abdominal cavity.
4. After removing the core rod, the 10mm sleeve is compatible with devices ranging from 8 to 11mm, while the 5mm sleeve accommodates devices from 3 to 6mm, offering versatile usage.
5. For standard procedures, begin with the use of a Veress needle to establish pneumoperitoneum. A converter allows 5mm devices to be used within the 10mm casing, and it can assist in the retrieval of blood, gauze, and other materials from the abdominal cavity. Utilize the specimen bag for secure specimen collection and containment.
