Instructions For Use
1. Carefully remove the sheath and core rod from the sterile packaging. Insert the core rod into the casing sheath as indicated by the icon.
2. For puncturing, position the core rod seat in your palm, place two fingers on the handle of the casing, and apply a firm grip. Activate the lock switch at the apex, enabling puncture. Ensure the indicator is set to the 'ON' position.
3. During the puncture process, if the indicator reverts to 'OFF', this signifies successful penetration of the abdominal cavity.
4. Withdraw the core rod. The 10mm sleeve accommodates devices ranging from 8 to 11mm, while the 5mm sleeve is suitable for devices from 3 to 6mm.
5. For standard procedures, the initial step may involve the use of a veress needle to establish pneumoperitoneum. A converter is included for using 5mm devices within the 10mm casing. Additionally, it facilitates retrieval of specimens or materials like blood and gauze. Utilize the specimen bag for secure specimen packaging.
