Instructions For Use
1. Begin by removing the sheath and core rod from the sterile packaging, then insert the core rod into the sheath, guided by the instructions indicated on the icon.
2. For the puncture process, place the core rod seat in your palm, position two fingers on the handle, apply a firm grip, and engage the lock switch. The indicator should be set to the ON position for successful puncture.
3. During the puncture, if the indicator returns to OFF, it signifies that the casing has successfully penetrated the abdominal cavity.
4. Remove the core rod; the 10mm sleeve accommodates devices sized 8 to 11mm, while the 5mm sleeve is suitable for devices sized 3 to 6mm.
5. If utilizing the standard procedure, initiate with a veress needle to establish pneumoperitoneum. A converter allows the use of 5mm devices within a 10mm casing and facilitates the retrieval of materials such as blood or gauze. A specimen bag is included for specimen collection.
