Instructions For Use
1. Carefully remove the sheath and core rod from their sterile packaging. Insert the core rod into the sheath following the illustrated guide for proper alignment.
2. During puncture, grip the core rod seat firmly in your palm, positioning two fingers around the handle of the casing. Exert a gentle yet firm pressure to engage the lock switch to the ON position, allowing for precise puncture.
3. Throughout the puncture process, monitor the indicator. If it returns to the OFF position, this signifies successful penetration of the abdominal cavity.
4. Once the core rod is removed, the 10mm sleeve accommodates devices ranging from 8mm to 11mm, while the 5mm sleeve is compatible with 3mm to 6mm instruments.
5. For standard procedures, begin with the use of a Veress needle to establish pneumoperitoneum. A converter is available for 5mm devices within the 10mm casing, facilitating versatility. This setup also allows for the efficient retrieval of specimens, blood, or gauze from the abdominal cavity using a specimen bag.
