Instructions For Use: Follow these comprehensive steps for optimal utilization of the Versatile Disposable Trocar, ensuring precision and safety in every procedure.
1. Begin by removing the sheath and core rod from the sterile packaging. Insert the core rod into the casing sheath as illustrated by the icon for effortless assembly.
2. To initiate puncture, position the core rod seat in your palm, place two fingers on the casing handle, and apply a gentle yet firm grip. When the lock switch is at the top, puncture can proceed. The indicator will confirm when it is securely in the ON position.
3. Throughout the puncture, monitor the indicator. If it returns to OFF, this signifies successful penetration into the abdominal cavity, ensuring procedural accuracy.
4. After removing the core rod, the versatile 10mm sleeve accommodates devices ranging from 8 to 11mm, while the 5mm sleeve is adaptable for 3 to 6mm devices.
5. For standard procedures, initiate with a Veress needle to establish pneumoperitoneum. The provided converter allows the use of 5mm tools within the 10mm casing. It can also be employed to retrieve samples from the abdominal cavity using blood, gauze, and other materials. The specimen bag is designed for secure specimen containment.
