Instructions For Use
1. Begin by carefully removing the sheath and core rod from their sterile packaging. Following the icon guide, gently insert the core rod into the casing sheath.
2. For puncture, position the core rod seat in your palm, place two fingers on the casing handle, and grip firmly. This action switches the lock to the ON position, enabling puncture.
3. During the puncture process, if the indicator returns to OFF, it confirms the casing has successfully penetrated the abdominal cavity.
4. Extract the core rod; the 10mm sleeve accommodates devices sized 8 to 11mm, while the 5mm sleeve fits 3 to 6mm devices, offering versatile application.
5. For standard procedures, initially use a veress needle to establish pneumoperitoneum. A converter is available to adapt 5mm devices within a 10mm casing, also aiding in tasks like retrieving blood or gauze from the abdominal cavity, and includes a specimen bag for secure specimen collection.
